Fort Seward Wagon Train

Experience North Dakota the way the pioneers did when you join the Fort Seward covered wagon train.

Starting in Jamestown at Fort Seward, the wagon train takes people of all ilks and ages across the prairie for a week of history, community, beauty, and fun. Bring your horse and ride, sit back in the wagon, or walk the trail. It’s up to you. History talks at historical sites, nature lore, and crafting will educate the entire family. The shared adventure and the nightly meals around the campfire will create a community feeling that harkens back to earlier, simpler times.

In the words of a repeat wagon train attendee, “I LOVE North Dakota! The earthy smell of its rolling land, the glorious sight of its sunsets & sunrises, the fragrance of its prairie flowers, farmer’s fields of growing crops, alfalfa, sweet clover, and the crisp, fresh smell after summer rainfall.

This is the best way to experience North Dakota living!” (Wagon Train News. covered-wagon-train.com. Fort Seward, Inc. April 2020. Web.)
