Searle
Executive Director
Searle’s experience of 14 years at Concordia College in a variety of capacities, most recently as the Associate Director of Alumni Relations, have served him well in this position. Searle views Jamestown as “A jewel on the prairie that provides wonderful access to historical events, social outlets and its people provide the element of hospitality that make it unique.”
Allison
Visitor Experience Manager
The smiling face that greets you when you walk into the Visitors Information Center will likely belong to Allison. Allison is an NDSU Alum with a Bachelor’s degree in History with a minor in Communications. Her previous experience with historical research, exhibit implementation, and office management have served her well in this role. She was born and raised in North Dakota, and is very excited to be a part of the Jamestown Tourism team.

The Jamestown Tourism Board of Directors is composed of up to 15 Jamestown and Stutsman County representatives. The Full Board usually meets monthly on the 4th Monday of the month. The Grant and Executive Committee usually meet monthly on the 3rd Thursday of the month.

Upcoming Meetings

The Grant/Executive Board meetings are scheduled for the third Thursday of the month at CSi Franklin School Second Floor Conference Room at 11:30 a.m.
The Full Board meetings are scheduled for the fourth Monday of the month at the Holiday Inn Express at 5:15 p.m.
Changes to the scheduled board meetings will be announced ahead of time and reported in the Jamestown Sun.
Grants
Jamestown Tourism offers grant funding to non-profit or municipal organizations for projects that enhance the impact of the tourism industry in Jamestown, ND and Stutsman County. New projects and events which bring in overnight visitors to stay in our lodging facilities will be given top priority when awarding grant funds.

These requests are due by March 1st and October 1st of each year and will be heard at the Jamestown Tourism Grant/Exec Meeting of March and October.
Talking Trail Stop Proposal
The Jamestown Talking Trail tells the story of Jamestown. If you have an idea for a story or stop, please submit the proposal form to our Board of Directors for review.
