Swim outdoors and soak in some sunshine at Jamestown Reservoir’s sandy beach.

The sandy shore eases gently into the water, depth increasing slowly, and the swimming area is roped off to protect swimmers from the water-sports taking place nearby. Bring sand toys for the kids, a picnic lunch, a beach towel you can stretch out on, float tubes, beach umbrellas, and anything else you think you would enjoy. There are on-site bathrooms and a wheelchair ramp down to the water for those who can’t take the stairs. The beach is open to the public and free to use.
