Jamestown Speedway
If you’re in Jamestown on a Saturday night, May through September, you’re in for a rumbling good time at the Jamestown Speedway.
This is a night of entertainment that won’t empty your wallet. Parking is free. So are tickets for children twelve and under. The fan gates open early, and concessions, including burgers, chicken Os, and beefy cheesy nachos, are abundant. Grab a soda or a beer and sit back with the rest of the crowd while you wait for the excitement to begin. Family friendly seating is available if you brought the kids. There’s nothing more intense than watching racers rooster tail through turns, engines roaring. You’ll hold your breath while racers take open spaces that weren’t there seconds ago. Experience the exhilaration as cars thunder into the last lap, fighting to be first over the finish line.
The Jamestown Speedway is located at 6th Ave and 27th Street NW. For race times and events go to www.jamestownspeedway.com or call 701-527-2467.
