New to Jamestown this year is Jamestown Recreation Rentals. This locally owned outdoor rental company can be found on the water at Hondo's Hideaway. They offer the experience for locals and visitors to explore the lake life Jamestown has to offer on our pontoon and jet ski rentals. With Hondo's Hideaway as the start and stop destination, you can experience drinks and dining while cruising the open waters.

Pipestem Reservoir

4,200 acres of public lands and water beckons.

Boasting some 820 acres of water and 14 plus miles of shoreline, Pipestem Reservoir just north of Jamestown affords some great fishing, hunting, camping and recreation opportunities.

Pipestem Reservoir is a great destination for Yellow Perch, Northern Pike and Walleye.

Pipestem Reservoir is also open for motorized boats and recreation.

Spiritwood Lake

Spiritwood lake is a hidden haven.

Nestled in a small valley about 15 miles northeast of Jamestown. It’s best known for great fishing, recreation, & camping.

Directions

From Jamestown, follow Highway 20 north until you reach 24th St (about 10 miles north of town). Turn right onto 24th St. In about 5 miles, you’ll have three different options to turn:

  • Turn left onto 90th Ave for the Sandy Beach Campground area
  • Turn left onto Spirit Inn Road for Spiritwood Resort and Campground area
  • Turn left onto 91st Ave for additional access
