Frontier Village brings the world of the prairie pioneers to life.

Stagecoach Rides run Thursday-Monday 11am-5pm
weather permitting.

Original buildings from the frontier villages of North Dakota were brought to this site and filled with antiques and artifacts, creating informative historical displays.

Learn about the beloved western author when you visit the Louis L’Amour writer’s shack.

Walkthrough the Northern Pacific Railroad Depot (1880), explore the Frontier School, Church, and Bank. And don’t forget the gift shops, where you can find North Dakota treasures and handmade goods from local artisans.

Closely connected to the village are both the National Buffalo Museum, and the World’s Largest Buffalo monument.
