Located in the heart of downtown, the main building features an exhibition gallery, performance stage, classroom, office, artist-in-residence apartment and studio. The Arts Center gallery features artists of local, regional and national importance. The exhibit changes many times throughout the year. The Arts Center also hosts a variety of theater and musical performances throughout the year; Visit our event calendar to see upcoming events. Recurring events include the Artful Happy Hour (21+), Photography Club, and Open Mic Night just to name a few.
The Hansen Arts Park, a beautiful garden and green space, was added in 2008, and is located right across the street. The park features the Boulder Pavilion and Prairie Grass Ballet Sculptures by Owen Fritts, who speaks about the inspiration of these pieces on the Jamestown Talking Trail.
The Hansen Arts Studio, the adjacent building, houses a ceramics studio and adult classroom space.

The Arts Center is a spot for local artists to share their talents as well as a performance and exhibition location for artists from around the world.
Jamestown Fine Arts Association also operates the Ila & J.A. Kirkpatrick Gallery at the Frontier Village in Jamestown. The gallery is open each summer and is operated by the Artisans, a volunteer artist group.*
